Hyperhub Router

Setting up your HyperHub router

Our HyperHub is included with every fibre broadband package and has been carefully selected to support up to 1Gbps speeds over a wired connection.

Features:

  • Supports up to 1 Gigabit speeds over connection (4 x Gigabit LAN interface)
  • Usually hand-delivered and installed by our engineer.

Inside your HyperHub box, you should have

  • HyperHub
  • AC-DC power adaptor
  • 2 x network cable (yellow and black cable)
  • Phone cable (grey cable)

To set up your HyperHub

  1. Plug one end of the black broadband cable into the HyperHub’s black WAN socket and the other end into Hyperoptic’s faceplate on your wall.
  2. Plug the power adaptor into your HyperHub and switch on at the mains.
  3. Press the power button on the back of your HyperHub. The green power light will come on and your HyperHub will connect to Hyperoptic broadband automatically. This may take a few minutes.
  4. Setup is complete when the green Power, Internet, WAN and WLAN light are on. You are ready to connect your devices; laptop, computer, phone, tablet etc.

Image1Troubleshooting:

  1. WLAN light is not ‘on’

    Press the WLAN button on the back of your HyperHub.

  2. WAN and/or Internet light is not ‘on’

    Restart your router by pressing the ON/OFF button at the back of the router once to turn OFF and a second time to turn ON. It should take less than 1 minute to reboot.
