Connecting to your wireless network (Wi-Fi)

If you need help with one of our other routers, please call our support team on 0333 332 1111 (option 3).   First you’ll need to unpack and start up your router. You can find help and advice on doing this in our <Setting up your HyperHub router> Once you have set up your router, follow these steps below.

  1. Find your wireless network (Wi-Fi). Go to your network settings and search for available wireless network on your device and
  2. Select your wireless network name (SSID). You’ll find the name of your wireless network (SSID) on the back of your HyperHub.
  3. Enter your password (Security code) found at the back of your HyperHub.
  4. Check you've set up correctly by opening a web browser and visiting a website.
Troubleshooting:Cannot access the internet Repeat steps 1to 4 again and check that you have entered your password correctly.Cannot find the wireless network. Your wireless network name should be “XXXX Hyperoptic 1Gbps Broadband” unless you have logged into the router and changed it. If you have made changes, you will need to select the wireless network name and enter the password you changed it to. If you have forgotten these credentials, you can find help and advice on doing this in our Changing the WiFi name (SSID) and password. Password incorrect Your password should be 8 character long and found at the back of your HyperHub unless you have logged into the router and changed it. If you have made changes, you will need to select the wireless network name and enter the password you changed it to.
